Part Five

“Captain, he’s here.” One of the crew announced and Dorothy cursed under her breath; glad she’d locked her door.
“Be there in a minute!” She turned back to the blushing Quatre. ‘You know, if he’d stop blushing he’d look roguishly sexy. Hmmm.’ She shook her head, ‘Get a grip, Dorothy! This is Quatre Winner you’re thinking about! Innocence is his middle name!… Actually Raberba is, but…’ Her mental arguing was cut short as Quatre slowly stood up.
“Are you sure this is necessary?” He pulled at the metal collar he wore around his neck. She grabbed the end of the chain connected to it and wrapped it around her hand.
“According to my crew, yes. Now just be quiet and do what I tell you to do…” She glanced in the mirror and nearly gaped at the image that greeted her… However, she managed to only look cold… She was still dressed in black; the Dorothy here had a thing for it… Just like Duo… Strange… Any ways… She was wearing a low cut black dress that had a high slit in it that showed off her right leg. It had a strange webby look to it, probably because of the ship’s name; Black Widow… A black spider hair clip held back the left side of her hair and jewelry glittered in her ears. The thing that made her wanna gape though was the sight next to her… Quatre wearing nothing but a tan pair of pants similar to the crew’s with a collar around his neck… For a brief second she admired his body, after all a person rarely saw it what with all those layers of clothing he usually wore then snapped herself out of it. ‘Really, Dorothy! Drooling over angel boy?’ “Ready?” She asked him and he swallowed, but nodded and the two walked out of the room; Quatre being led by the chain…
‘God help me…’ Quatre briefly thought.
“So… What do we do now? Go after Dorothy and Quatre?” Relena asked and the group slowly nodded, even Foxy. The fox girl really was only going along for the fun of it, which meant annoying Ruby.
Duo started to chuckle, “Can’t believe Dorothy’s some Piratess/seductress! Just think about it! Dorothy!?” Hilde smacked him in the back of the head, “Shut up, Duo.”
“Go Hilde!” Ruby yelled.
“Oh shut up ya pipsqueak.” Duo grinned as Ruby started screeching, “PIPSQUEAK!? PIPSQUEAK!?”
“How dare you insult my woman!” Wufei brandished his sword about and Ruby squeaked.
“Stop moving so much you idiot! YOUR WOMAN!? I ain’t nobody’s WOMAN!” She fluttered onto Hilde’s shoulder and the two began to whisper, every now and then sending their guys dark looks. Wufei and Duo both sweatdropped…
“I’ll gladly be your woman Wuffie!” Foxy put her arms around Wufei and whispered huskily in his ear, “That little firefly couldn’t possibly fulfill your needs like I could!”
“GET YOUR PAWS OFF HIM RAT!”
“What are you doing FURRY WOMAN!?” Wufei was freaked and ran away from both the arguing women. Relena was glad they’d left the inn awhile ago and were now on a dusty road, otherwise they’d have been booted out of the inn…
“YOU GUYS!” She yelled and silence prevailed, for awhile at least. She sighed, “Hilde, are we getting close to Trowa?”
Hilde closed her eyes, then opened them and nodded. “Yeps! Luckily it seems he’s staying in one spot!”
“Heero? Heero! What are you DOING!?” The whole group turned and stared at the suicidal pilot and Foxy winked at him.
“Lookin’ good knightie!”
“You shut up!” Relena ordered the fox girl and Foxy sullenly did so. Relena smiled slightly, maybe being a princess in this world wasn’t so bad… However, having a boyfriend that just started stripping in the middle of the road…
“I’m taking this armor off, what’s it look like?” Heero ignored Foxy’s remark and continued taking the metal off until he was standing there wearing his usual outfit (Ya know, tank top and spandex shorts) Duo complained, “How come Heero has HIS regular clothes?”
Hilde gave him a look, “What’s under your armor?” That caused some of the group to start laughing and she blushed, “I didn’t mean it like THAT!”
Duo gave her a suggestive wink, “You know I don’t mind telling ya Hilde, just I thought you’d want to see in private. OW!” He grabbed his braid protectively, “No pulling the hair!”
“Well don’t be an idiot!”
“No hope for that.” Ruby smiled sweetly at Duo, who glared at her.
Relena looked upward and sighed, “We are hopeless.”
“Shut up ya PIPSQUEAK!”
“PIPSQUEAK!? COME HERE GIRLIE BOY!”
“Girlie boy!?!?”
“Hey! Duo isn’t girlie!”
“You would know Hilde!”
“WUFEI!”
She sighed again, “Hopeless.”
Trowa watched the wizard warily and Jewel stretched and opened her eyes next to him. She stared at the wizard, then at Trowa. “Did you two stay up all night staring at each other?”
“I believe so, my dear!” The wizard said cheerfully and Trowa ignored the urge to groan. ‘How can he be so perky after not getting any sleep?!’ The acrobat stifled a yawn and Jewel sent him a guilty glance.
“You should’ve gotten some sleep… I could’ve stood guard some.” She peeked at Ravyn who smiled at her and turned quickly back to Trowa. ‘He may be some kind of demon or fey, but at least he helped me escape…Maybe I should be nicer to him…’
“I’m fine.” He stood up and stopped. “Did you hear that?” Jewel craned her neck and listened. Ravyn smiled, “Seems we have company! I will be seeing you around boy.” He twirled and before Trowa’s startled eyes, changed into a raven and flew off. Jewel seemed to watch calmly, but briefly squeezed his arm for comfort. She realized what she was doing and quickly let go, looking angry and flushed.
“Stop buzzing around like a bee!” Somebody yelled and Trowa’s ears perked. He knew that voice. The group was getting closer and some more voices piped up.
“I AM A FAIRY! NOT AN INSECT!”
“WILL YOU TWO SHUT UP?!” Trowa blinked in surprise. If he was right then that last voice belonged to a usually calm, quiet Heero.
“Heero, give Wufei his sword back…” Relena sighed and shook her head as Heero hesitantly did so, ignoring Wufei’s mutters of the injustice of it all.
“Heero? Wufei?” Trowa yelled (GASP!) and the group came running into the clearing where he and Jewel were. Jewel stared at the group in shock; “YOU ARE A FEY!”
“Huh?” Duo scratched his head, “What’s she talking about?”
Hilde smacked him again, “She thinks Trowa’s a magical person because of me and Ruby… And well, Foxy and Wufei, too…”
Trowa grabbed Jewel’s hands, trying to calm her. “I’m not a fey, I’m an acrobat… These are my friends; that’s all. They won’t hurt you.”
Slowly she began to breathe again and nodded, “I trust you.” The two stared at each other for a second and---
“Uh?? Hello? Earth to Trowa and babe! OW! Hey! What was that for?” Duo tried to rub his arm and stomach at once. Hilde had punched him in the stomach and Relena had hit him in the arm, Ruby had decked him also but her fists were too tiny to hurt.
“You idiot! They were having a moment!” Relena hissed at him.
Trowa let go of Jewel’s hands quickly and stared at Relena, she had to be joking… But with Relena you could never tell… Probably wasn’t… Whatever… “Jewel, these are my friends.”
Jewel stared at Relena coldly, “She is the princess.”
Relena suddenly recognized the former songbird and gasped, “No! I’m not really, see actually I’m from another world and I would never ever enslave a person! I am so sorry for what happened to you!”
Trowa nodded, “Believe her, Jewel.”
Jewel’s eyes met Relena’s and for a second time seemed to stand still, then Jewel put out a hand and Relena shook it gratefully. “I believe you… Another world?”
Hilde grinned, “It’s a long story!”
“Not really, they explained it to me in like five seconds!” Foxy chirped and Jewel looked at her, “Long or short, I want to hear…”
“Looking lovely as always, Dorothy.” Daniel kissed her free hand and she yanked it off of his grasp.
“Behave yourself, Captain, or else my pet might get jealous.” Quatre had never heard her speak like that, in a low, sensual purr. She sat down at one of the high-backed chairs; she motioned for him to sit…at her feet. Quatre resisted the urge to groan, ‘I agreed to do whatever was needed…’
“And what could you precious pet do?” Daniel sent the kneeling Quatre a disgusted look, “Nothing but a pampered brat… However, I see that it seems that you’ve broken him.”
She smiled, “Yes, I do hope you’ve bid farewell to your ship.” Inside she simmered, ‘I don’t want his bloody ship! I want to go home! Argh!’
“Not so fast, Widow… For all I know he could just be scared. The bet was that he had to be your LOVE slave… Not a scared little boy doing what he’s told.” Daniel leaned back in his chair, a smug smile on his face. “Unless of course, you can’t do it… I do hope you can cook well, Dorothy.”
She was enraged, but years of political training made it possible to keep a smile on her face. “Really? I never was that good in a kitchen.” The ship’s cook came in and placed food before them. She reached over and inspected the group of grapes and carefully picked out the largest and rolled it between her fingers. “I’m hurt that you don’t believe in my skills, Captain…” Dorothy glanced down at Quatre and winced inwardly, ‘Oh my god… What am I doing?’ Her eyes hardened, ‘Nothing… I have to or else I’ll be stuck cleaning dishes and Quatre might be killed…’ Under her gaze a slight blush began to creep up the blond boy’s face and she smiled.
“I believe in them. I just believe this is a little out of your league.”
“Hmmm… Hungry pet?” She asked Quatre and carefully bit into the grape, leaving half of it still shown. She could feel her own face start to heat up; she was blushing, but this had to be done. Quatre felt a slight jerk on the chain connected to his collar; he raised up and bit the other half of the grape off. Their lips brushed and he swallowed the half-grape without chewing. ‘Dear god.’ He briefly thought. The kiss deepened and neither noticed the rage clear on Daniel’s face.
Captain Daniel gripped the arm of his chair in deep anger. ‘How dare that spoiled, rich brat kiss my spider! She succeeded… **** her! She succeeded! But… I don’t have to let her know that yet… And if I get rid of the blond prince then it’ll be said he ran away…’ Daniel smiled, ‘Forcing her to say she lost the bet… She will be mine and the prince will die.’
Unaware of the captain’s thoughts Dorothy and Quatre broke their kiss. Both were red in the face and breathless. Dorothy used her hair to shield her face from the male captain as she gasped for air. ‘Oh my god…. What the hell was that!?’ She glanced down at Quatre and saw his blue eyes locked on her and felt her heartbeat quicken. ‘Get a grip, Dorothy!’ But another part of her giggled mentally, ‘Angel boy’s a great kisser! Who’d have guessed?’ Dorothy looked away from him and quickly grabbed a glass and drank, hiding her insane giggling.
Jewel stared at them once they’d finished telling her, which had taken a lot longer than five seconds. Trowa watched her a little worriedly and Relena was starting to worry that the girl was in shock when suddenly she spoke up. “I bet he could help you get home.”
“He?”
Jewel glanced at Trowa and nodded, “Yes… Ravyn’s a powerful wizard, I’m sure he can do it!” She stood up, wiping her dirty hands on her blue dress, and looked around.
Foxy started to nod, “The birdie’s probably right… Though he’s a shady character… He might help, just depends on whether or not we catch him in a good mood.”
“We’ve already run into him once, before you guys came… He said he’d be back.” Trowa didn’t mention the fact that he didn’t the trust the wizard, they could tell by his face and tone of voice. Heero’s eyes scanned the forest, “Which way did he go? I don’t see any signs of a trail left by a running person… Except for ours.”
“He flew away…” Jewel looked upward.
Foxy grinned, “He’s not called a raven for nothing! But we’ve got our own little dragon and the queen of the fireflies! We’ll find him!”
“YAY!” They all turned to look at the yelling Duo. Jewel nearly turned red and averted her eyes. Foxy started whistling; Hilde sent her a glare. Duo tossed the last bit of armor off and did a little dance, “I GOT MY OWN CLOTHES TOO!”
Jewel looked up and stared at his garb, for a second she’d thought he was stripping down to his undergarments. “How strange…”
“Yeah! Strange is Duo’s middle name!”
“Thanks Pipsqueak!”
“DON’T CALL ME THAT!”
“Yeah, her name’s Firefly!”
“Just like hers is Furry Rat!”
“You know… It’s times like these that I feel sorry for Wufei…” Relena whispered to Hilde and Hilde nodded as the poor boy was dragged between the two arguing girls.
“AH! What are you doing?!” The group turned and saw Heero pointing a branch at Jewel. She stared at him, “I thought that was your skin…”
“Well its not! That’s my clothes! CLOTHES!” Relena was starting to worry about Heero. She had never seen him so close to panicking… He’s going to have a breakdown…
“Well you should wear more then.” Jewel told him calmly and Duo started to crack up.
“See! That spandex is just too tight!” He yelled at Heero and was rewarded a glare of Death. Hilde slapped Duo in the stomach, “Hush!”
“What was that for?! You mean you LIKE his spandex!? HILDE!” Duo stared, shocked, at his girlfriend who was turning red.
“I DIDN’T SAY THAT! I WAS HUSHING YOU FOR RELENA’S BENEFIT!”
“AH! MY BENEFIT!? WHY WAS I DRAGGED INTO THIS ARGUMENT!?” Relena was nearly jumping up and down with embarrassment and anger.
“Remember when we played Truth or Dare, you let it slip that—AH!” Hilde screamed as a yelling Relena threw her to the ground.
“I DID NO SUCH THING!” She whispered in Hilde’s ear, “Shut up!” The princess slowly got up, helping Hilde to her feet too. Hilde shuffled her feet, “Sorry, Rel…”
“Jeez… Psycho babes.” Duo paled as the two girls turned to face him, “Hey! It was a joke! A JOKE!” He started to run and the two girls chased him around the clearing.
Heero stared down at his clothing, “Its not that tight, is it?” He looked at Trowa.
“Uhhh…” Trowa shifted uncomfortably and spotted Jewel, “I need to talk to Jewel!” He bolted off and Heero simmered.
“I think it’s cute!” Foxy winked at the suicidal pilot and Heero paled. Everyone stopped whatever they were doing as the screaming reached their ears. Relena gasped and stared as the usually fearless boy fell to his knees and started yelling. “GOD HELP ME! HE’S RIGHT!”
“Mental breakdown… Heero Yuo is having a mental breakdown… We’re all going to die. OW!” Duo rubbed the back of his head, “That hurt Hilde!”
